General meetings of companies and associations without physical presence

Introduction

Through a temporary legislative amendment, it has been possible since 18 May 2020 to hold company and association meetings entirely without physical attendance. Instead, the meeting can be held via electronic connection combined with postal voting, or alternatively by shareholders participating solely through postal voting.
 
The new provisions are based on enabling the holding of general meetings without health risks related to COVID-19. The law will cease to apply at the end of 2020.
