On 12 January 2021, a proposal was submitted to increase the subsidy rate for the transition support for small companies from 70 per cent to 90 per cent.
The proposal concerns revenue loss during the periods November-December 2020 and January-February 2021.
For support to be granted for the periods mentioned above, the company must have experienced a drop in turnover of at least 30 percent.
The proposal to extend support for the period November-December 2020 was submitted to the Riksdag on 12 January 2021 with the aim of taking effect in mid-February. For the period January-February 2021, the proposal is expected to take effect on 1 March 2021. In our assessment, there are no obstacles to the proposal going through as planned.
For larger companies, the subsidy rate will continue to be 70 percent.
Further information about the proposal can be found on the government's website.
