Do you have employees born between 1998 and 2002? In that case, the Swedish Tax Agency recommends that you wait a little before submitting the employer's declaration for June.
As Result previously reported, the government has proposed reduced employer contributions for young people during June, July, and August. The reduction concerns individuals born between 1998 and 2002, and the proposed employer contribution is 10.21 per cent for them on remuneration up to 25,000 Swedish kronor.
The regulations are proposed to come into effect on 19 June and, in light of this, the Swedish Tax Agency has issued a recommendation to postpone submitting the employer declaration for June until the regulations have come into effect. This is to avoid having to request a reassessment.
The employer declaration for June had to be submitted to the Swedish Tax Agency by 12 July this year.
